About

Dr. Aidan O'Sullivan is a Senior Lecturer at UCD School of Archaeology, Dublin, Ireland. His main research interests are in archaeology of social identity, materiality and landscape in early medieval Britain and Ireland, AD 400-1100; global wetlands and maritime archaeology and landscape archaeology.

He is the Principal Investigator of the Early Medieval Archaeology Project (EMAP; see www.emap.ie for reports to download) and currently supervises 9 PhD/MLitt students investigating aspects of early medieval Ireland and beyond.
